If someone needs an inexpensive fishing rig or a dependable college car, I've got one. Recently got a Toyota 4Runner to play with.

1996 Subaru Outback - has 182,000 miles on the body and a lower miles EJ22 motor. (About 120,000 miles. More dependable than the 2.5s that had head gasket issues. Motor is still under warranty) Automatic transmission. Current registration. Clear title. Smogged a couple days ago. Drives great. Needs nothing.

Here's the list - power windows, AM/FM Cassette, heated seats, roof rack, fog lights, dual air bags, alloy wheels, cruise control, All wheel drive. Clean condition inside and out. Body has a normal amount of scuffs and scratches, but paint is good. Interior clean with no rips or tears. AC blows cool but not cold. (Could use a charge)

I've grown up on Subarus and know them well. I'd take it anywhere without hesitation. Especially with the bulletproof 2.2 motor this one will last a long time. Located in Felton/Santa Cruz. PM me with questions or to come see it.

What kind of mileage (MPG) does that thing get?

average would be mid 20s. Gets over 30 on the highway. Not bad for full size and AWD.

SOLD - That was fast. Going to a new home with a fellow member. Sounds like it's going to be both college car and fishing rig.

Damn!! Wish I saw this! I Turbo'd an EJ22 on a 99 Outback, lifted it and that thing went forever... well until I got tired of replacing axles! Great car, Great shape! Glad it sold so quick!!!
