Honestly, I need to move on from this and I do try to avoid negative shit on the internet.  Rob - I'm sorry for calling you out, and I hope you'll be as nice in person as you always are when I see you again, but you need to stop coming on the threads of others and taunting and ambush marketing and bragging.  Please!  I brag, Rob.  I'm a huge braggart.  I do it in my own threads - please keep your taunting and bragging to your own threads and I'll keep mine to mine.  Thx.

Really seriously thinking of taking Christina up to the Klamath on Labor Day weekend to see it and fish it for once but stopping by HBO and scoring some Butts would make the trip that much kooler. I did get some guests on salmon yesterday, but they weren't paid guest.  I still invite new people to fish with me without asking them to book a trip.  Having paid guests is not a priority for me since my finances are fine with or without it.
I posted it since it's the same brothers in this thread who caught some of the salmon in the picture.  Im not writing a whole thread for that day.  Good luck with your guest thursday if I'm reading that Facebook post correctly.  I hope ya'll get some, but don't crowd a bite you didn't find.  There are other easier places to launch and catch salmon in the bay, but you wouldn't know that since don't go and find your own fish.

I'd love to post a pic from my getting in on the hot humboldt bite but the closest I've come is catching a salmon on halibut gear that I had to release and farming another.  I caught a gazillion pound bat ray that pickle should have video of up soon on facebook.  And a 4 foot leopard shark. Assorted other sharks, rays, and bait stealers, but none of the pretty stuff.

lol'ed at fishing penis envy.  We all make mistakes tho and Rob came right out and admitted he was wrong.  He has a legit gripe about depth resrictions and seasons but I think we are on our way to getting that fixed through the PFMC.  Tone is hard to read on the internet, I know that better than anyone since I come across as a hostile asshole myself, but when there's a potential legal issue on a public fishing figure that has a goddamn radio show then he can expect to get called out.  And something good actually came out of that thread that might save someone a $700 ticket for not having a net.

Anyway, pass the peace pipe and chase girls that look like lumberjacks and dream of san diego while you envy the fishing penes of everyone 800 miles south of you.
