New Guy in Portland (Troutdale)

Hi, my name is Ed Hawkins and I'm new to boating and will be taking delivery of my new Hobie Adventure Island on Wednesday. My only fishing experience is a little trout fishing when I was a kid. I'm 67 now and have the time to devote to new adventures. Watching youtube videos has inspired me to learn more about fishing and over night camping in the sailboat.

Hit me up I live in Garibaldi a quaint little drinking town with a fishing problem, also forcibly retired. 

 
  Used to live in Gresham, off 201st.   Only complaint while living there was living right under the flight path for PDX!  The F-18's were really loud!
  Good luck with your new adventures in trout fishing.  Having the Columbia river right there, you'll have no shortage of waters to fish.
I'm sure you've heard there's a sister site NWKA.  Lots of people on it as well.
