I was at wrong side of the bay today.  I fished the Alameda Rockwall from 11 to 1pm and was monitoring channel 68 my VHF.  A number of very familiar names from Coastside were calling each other from Oyster Point and Candlestick.  It sounded like the fishing for BIG STRIPERS & HALIBUT was WIDE OPEN.  Some guys were getting double and triple hook-ups.  I heard many of the stripers were going 15 and 20 lbs and several halibut were over 20 lbs.  One guy caught a 26 lber.  One old timer said this was the best big striper action in the bay he's seen in long time.

All of the radio talk was killing my as I was getting skunked again at Alameda.  Damn it.... I should have went to Oyster Point instead.

no worries.... from the coastside guys it sounds like it was choppy out there. i think we made the right call...it would have been really messy for us. I might try out there tomorrow morning if the wind is down like it is now pending wife approval.

Chris, I could get a look at your hallie, but it looked big.  Did you get a chance to weigh it?

As for your boat storage,  I'll keep my eye out for some place around here.
