Upgraded the system on my boat so here's what's for sale.

Nearly new Lowrance HDS 9 Gen2 Touch screen, power cable, bracket & 50/200 HDI transom mount transducer (no transducer bracket).  Unit used 4-5 times.  Internal GPS antenna.  Two microSD card slots.

$1100

PM for more info in the meantime.

This is a kick ass multifunction head unit capable of far more than just a FF/GPS - radar, nmea 0183/2000, Ethernet, wifi connectivity, sound system control, autopilot control & much more!  This headunit is just the gateway to greater things.

It's a bad ass system!  Had it integrated with two other units on my 18' boat  :smt003  Upgraded to the newest Gen3 unit & in process of installing the 3D system this next week or so :smt003  The whole boat is pretty much operated from the main display now from the music to the wifi to the radar to the fishfinder/gps .... even the trolling motor is run from the Lowrance unit  :smt007

All electric eh.  I got to test pilot a Torqeedo Deep Blue 40hp outboard which is all electric.  Absolutely awesome but the $$,$$$ is, to me, a bit cost prohibitive yet for the market to take a close, serious look at them.

I build my own. Shaft through the floor =  unlimited motor size 48 volt 30hp? Stupid scary fast stuff.... Prices are getting better.... 2 banks of 4 batteries each. Some in front some at back of boat. Saw some built like this and they got up on plane and ran most of the day.....

Used ones are out there. Cheaper than a 4 stroke so I can get out on Tahoe :smt044
