That seems the only bummer about IGFA is that they want you to kill your record for examination...Kind of an old way to go about it...If you were using Oregon's pass the rod rule it wouldn't count for IGFA, they have pretty sticky but straightforward rules.

Dudes Verm is HUGE though...Guess we should have weighed this one, I swear it would have gone 20# lol

This is oneproblem i have ran into this problem befor. Needing to kill the fish for ifga record . if u fish the sf bay any big fish caught is gona die before getting weighed . it isa wonder how many record fish have been released because of good sports man . i have a question how many of u whole heartedly would release a record fish  if it ment keeping the fish alive .? Sorry didnt mean to tread jack that is a giant verm
