I'm planning to hit Linda Mar in the morning 7ish if anyone wants to join. Will be looking for lings and rockfish, but I'll bring an couple WMAs in case there is any bird action in close for salmon. Company is welcome.

Cheers,
Brad

Tough conditions out this morning with a strong breeze on it already at launch and a pretty mixed sea state. Winds were forecast to be more from the South, but they were straight on shore. Pretty wet surf launch but made it out without incident, but conditions were barely fishable. Ryan and I gave it a go for a little while before calling it. I caught a nice little wave in and that was that.

Tons of whale activity with a pod of 3 or 4 halfway between boat docks and the point in 15' of water and then tons of activity on the outside. For at least five minutes i was seeing flukes and fins constantly on the horizon. It looked like they were working some bait pretty hard.

Nice meeting you Ryan. We'll have to hit it again on a better day.

Cheers,
Brad

Yes. Nice meeting you too. Most definitely will try it again on a less breezy day.
