Hell Hole Info

I'm looking for some info for Hell Hole Reservoir. I'm planning on going up near the end of the month. I haven't decided if I want to car camp or kayak in to camp at the far end. Can anyone tell me if one end of the lake is better fishing this time of year. I'm hoping to avoid paddling to the other end every time I want to fish. I'd rather camp closer to the action so I can get on and off the water more quickly if the wind kicks up. Any other tips for this time of year would be great as well. Thanks.
