Drone fishing for tuna

I have been looking at drones with the return to GPS vs return to home. Launch off the back cockpit and go scan for wildlife. Tricky park is landing. +/- 6 feet. The landing pad is only 6 feet wide.
 

I wondered why more skippers don't utilize them in 4 pack and 6 packs. When me n Steve trolled all over the fing place 40 plus miles of water covered just hoping to find some paddies by luck. Just makes sense to have a spotter plane or aerial PoV.

You can improve the accuracy during landing by using the drone's onboard camera for blob detection and object tracking. Paint the landing pad a different color than the rest of your boat and the surrounding waters, and have the tracking software turn on when it gets close to the boat. The drone can then home in on the center of the landing pad.

That's a helluva cast!

Great idea, but how to keep the bait on the hook?

There's a system like that you freeze the bait into a ice cube.

Great idea. Except for that whole being illegal thing. 

I  want a self piloting autonomous drone fishing machine with wifi.  You can spend the day drinking beers and watching pro bowling on the couch. It will go out and find and catch the fish for you, and Email you a video and tell you how it was.  All this without the effort of having to paddle and get wet.
