Finally got a chance to take my kayak out for her maiden voyage to Stevens creek try and do some self rescue and some bass fishing while testing out the yak. I found it really hard to bass fish from a kayak, but but I never fished Stevens creek before and it was a challenge. Anybody have any tips of Stevens creek?

With all the low water and no trout plants that reservoir might be tough to fish. Hopefully some hold over fish are still there.
In my early years we used to catch a lot of fish there Trout, Bass, Crappie and Bluegill even some large goldfish. I hope it makes it back.
