I was researching teardrops and little campers a while back, sucking up all the info and tech I could get, then that one was in Sunset mag.

Initially, I was wowed. It has some cool features but upon closer scrutiny I found some real beneficial and intuitive things are missing, IMHO. Annnnd, it's supremely expensive.

If you can produce a bunch and sell them at that price, we are in the wrong biz.

Damn.

Holy crap! I just about shit when I saw the price. That's crazy.  I'll stick with my Casita.

Looks like their website is down but an article on it listed the price.....wow! might be a little tiny for that kind of money

The CLC kit is $1300.  Love the lines on their teardrop kit though!  $1800 for the full parts kit.

And believe me, you couldn't have guessed high enough.
STARTING price, $63,900.
You read that right, $63,900.
In comparison it must make my truck around $350,000.

No crapper and no cooking.  Believe me, you are NOT in the wrong business.  That is, not unless your business is to throw away your capital investment trying to sell an idea that is totally impractical.
