Not gonna lie... It's a serious concern of mine eventually running into a pod of orcas. They're beautiful, but not out on the open water in a 12' kayak haha.

It's extremely far down on my list of shit I worry about on the ocean. The next time a wild orca kills a human will be the first.

But yeah if I saw that coming at me I'd not be happy. Most likely get killed by a blunt force dolphin than a feeding orca in that spot tho.

wow, great video!

The grays and humpbacks around here are far more dangerous in that they aren't as smart. Orcas will always know where you are, grays and humpbacks just sort of blunder along.

Yeah I'm more worried about the dolphins than the orcas... So many and so fast...

Ok they all scare the crap out of me.  But I still dive and spearfish so I guess I am playing the odds game.

If we started eating more canned tuna, the damn dolphin population would be in check, and the orcas would prey on great whites, and in turn get their numbers in check. Sometimes, it is as simple as a sandwich.... :smt008
Live your life, the way you want to be remembered. Don't have any regrets, we only get this one dance to make it count. Start at your eulogy, and work backwards.
