This is a great deal and great piece of safety equipment if your out in the ocean and the fog roles in.

I had it posted with the pompano 120 post but felt it should be posted separate if you didn't see it.

Nice find on that one! waterproof and floats. I'm trying to find new at a cheaper price now. Almost fell for the ebay ones that are refurbished. Cheapest so far is $307 shipped to my door.

They always go on sale. good luck and  good job on staying safe. Or keep an eye out fish a fishfinder/gps  combo unit . Can find a good sale on those as well .

I bought an older Garmin 96C on Ebay 5 years ago for $95. It was set up for flying and not waterproof, but I loaded Blue charts on it and keep it in a ziplock bag. The only problem was that they no longer support it and it won't take newer charts with MPA's on it and it's memory is too small to add a lot of them.  Their interface is very good, and I use it to find my crab pots, reefs, and my way back in fog.  Very accurate and versitile. The new one sounds great, but I just bought a combo chart plotter/ fish finder to simplify things.
