I hit the Russian this morning for about an hour and a half with mo luck, so it was load up the wife and dog and head to Fort Bragg for some perch fishing and WAF building.

We went to Ten Mile Beach, which is north of Fort Bragg (Ingelnook is what they call it (I think). The weather was the best! Low to mid 60's with lite wind and clear skies. I tried surf perching, to no avail. Meanwhile, the wife and dog played in the surf and looked to sand dollars. I watched a couple of harbor seals working the Ten Mile River inlet for steelies I think. All in all it was a good time and a great deposit into the WAF account.

We ended up at the North Coast Brewery for Fish and garlic waffle fries and a couple of 38 stouts.

See you at Fred Hall tomorrow!

CHEERS!

Looks like a fun day at the beach!  Sand Dollars - that's cool.  We find a lot of them along the South African beaches too - they have a slightly different shape though and we call them Pansy Shells.  Next time we head out that way, I will certainly spend some time finding some of those!

Cheers!

Perhaps the tide was a bit low in the afternoon for perch.
