Aloha Everyone and I hope you all had a good Easter! Just wanted to let you know this weekend I will be teaching a FII Level 1 class at Red Triangle Spearfishing. This course is perfect for the start Abalone season and will make you a more safe and confident diver! The classroom portion will be held on Saturday at 8am at Red Triangle Spearfishing and the confined water portion will be held at Coast Guard Island in Alameda. The open water session will be held at Pebble Beach in Carmel on Sunday at 8am. You will need a kayak for the open water portion on Sunday, if you don't have one we have a few loaners and class is limited to 6 students with a minimum of 4.

Here is the link and feel free to call or email me if you have any questions. Thanks everyone!

Can't recommend this class enough...and Kris is a super cool guy and excellent instructor as well.

If you want to learn how to be a safer and better diver this is a great opportunity.

No worries! Yea sorry about the short notice everyone, hopefully Matt and I will be teaching classes at least twice a month weather permitting.

I wish I could take the spot, as it is I will have to look head to another time. This is a great opportunity for someone to become a much better freediver, in a hurry.

I just wanted to say EPIC job to all my students this past weekend! Shannon Anderson had a static breath hold of 2:30 and hit his PB dive at 33 feet. There's no doubt that Shannon will be able to hit a 3:00 static and dive beyond 33 feet in no time! Trevor Goodrich killed it with a PB static of 3:24 with room to spare. Phil Francisco also hit his PB static of 3:00 and hit the plate at 66 feet. Jon Silva also got a PB static of 3:12. Lastly BIIIIGGGG thanks to Matt Mattison who is already a Level 1 certified freediver and assisted me throughout the 2 day course. Matt shared the knowledge he learned in the course, and throughout his freediving career with other students and did what he could to help each student with improving their technique.

Keep an eye out for more classes coming up towards the ending of the month. Matt Lopez and I are planning on doing a joint class  soon and we are also planning a "make up" day for students who haven't completed the FII Level 1 course. I will be sure to post up a few weeks is advance before my next class. Thanks everyone!
