I was thinking about going to see him with Willy on their tour.
I guess Jamie Johnson will be filling in, which is cool, but I'm sad I never saw him play live.  :smt010

I was just listening to him in my car when I got home and saw this!He lived a long hard life so I will drink a beer and listen to Swingin Doors!

I talked to an old friend of mine today about Merle's passing. I mentioned that I had never seen him live. He looked at me surprised and said we both attended a Merle and Willie concert back in the early 80's. He said we had a good time too!

Sometimes my memories of the late 70's and early 80's are a little cloudy.
