Even the town beaches.  I got a nice big ol perch and a striper yesterday, and a small striper today from Seabright Beach.

Seabright was slow so I moved to my favorite secret spot, and ran into Dan FinFan who proceeded to outfish me 2 to 0.

the abundance of small stripers spread out in the bay bodes well for sumerime surfcasting, I predict.

Rockfish starts tomorrow and Salmo starts Saturday.  Happy days are here again!!!

(actually they never left).

There must be an astonishing number of stripers this year, as The Bay is completely filled with the little suckerS too.

Millions maybe?

Right on, Bushmaster!

The action on the Sonoma County beaches has been non-existent the last few trips.

In Loving Memory of Mooch, Eelmaster, Shicken, and Cabeza De Martillo

I started kayak fishing to get away from most of you...

AND STILL.........

Same spot. Hucked a Krokodile for an hour.  Nada.  Switched out to perch rig on my (too) big rod, and whoopie!  This guy was actually legal right at 18 inches, but I let him go.  Persistence pays.
