Lake Mendicino lately?

Anybody been to / seen Lake Mendocino lately? Im curious about the water clarity , levels etc.. I haven't been there since before the big rains, but am thinking about trying to fish there this week. Any intel would be much appreciated.

The lake was full as a of a couple weeks ago.  It should be clearing up by now.  We were below the dam checking out the steelhead in the hatchery and ran into someone who said the bass fishing had been real good.  I was tempted to head over and give it a shot.

A friend of mine fished it last weekend and scored some VERY impressive crappie.

I drove by last Sunday.
It had color but wasn't muddy. 
Lots of people shore fishing the inlet.
