Those diagrams are stunning. This could be a greatly contributing factor in the abnormal amount of empty Ab shells we've been finding at the beaches.

I noticed that there's also been a decrease of Black Rockfish with less kelp in the TC area.

Scary but, Even on land, nature tends to cull herds and out of whack populations with starvation events... The loss of the bull kelp is disturbing though :smt010 Guess we should all be ready to take kelp spoors out and disperse them when La Nina comes back in. Wonder if Kelp spoors could be hatchery raised and released by all those on the water. Might make a dent? Being gentle with the kelp that's left is probably a good Idea at this point.
