Hello All.

Dennis here aka SleighRideClyde from Manteca.

Just got my first kayak and I too graduated from the float tube armada.

I love all types of fishing from flyfishing in Sierra streams & lakes to bass & catfishing in the Delta. I'm really looking forward to getting into the ocean.  The wife painted a seal on the bottom of my 'yak and smeared chicken blood all over it and told me it was for good luck.  What a Gal!

Anyway, there's only one thing I like better than fishing and that's catching fish.  Been doing so for 56 of my 59 years.

I hope to meet some of you and if I'm lucky enough spend some time wetting a line.  If anyone feels like tolerating a beginner I'd sure appreciate an invite.  If I'm reading everything right halibut are just a few weeks away.

Regards,

Dennis

Welcome, Dennis.  I like your handle.

I can't put my usual smiley face after my welcome message, and I think it's because Windows 10 forced its way onto my computer last night - it took 3 hours, and I never asked for it!  (pissed off 'smiley face' here!)

Hey Dennis, welcome and congrats on the new kayak! Get out there and get the hang of that thing, rock cod season is almost open. And I am a ol' guy too! Please read up on safety gear.
