Event schedule for HOW 2016

Here is our tentative schedule for 2016.  A few events are still dependent on venue coordination. Schedule is subject to change so check back for current info and added trips. Trips will be posted 2-3 weeks in advance when we need volunteers.

One thing I want all to know. Some events are small and we only need a few extra volunteers. We will limit the amount of volunteers at certain events. The reason is that if we have 15 volunteers and only 5 participants it can/will make the people attending overwhelmed and a little shocked. Smaller, low key events are much better for those who are attending. The other reason is for funding reasons. When we pay for meals at these events we somewhat go all out, just like a lot of NCKA events. If we need to feed 25 total and only have 5 actual participants there is a lot of unnecessary overhead. Ideally we want one volunteer per participant. With that said, we appreciate each and everyone of you that has helped and those of you that want to help in the future.

Aug 20 or 27 SF Giants McCovey Cove-Giants baseball game on the water
