Thinking about hitting up the delta Thursday morning, looking to launch somewhere in Stockton area. If anyone else is thinking the same thing let me know! Only been out there one time and launched out of the country club parking lot. I'm new to kayaking and am still learning the delta, but I've been having fun. If anyone is going out Thursday let me know where you're heading and maybe we will run into each other!

Well since your new to the Delta I am going to give you a good location to fish near Stockton. You want to go highway 5 and exit at Eight mile road heading west, go to Kings Island Marina and launch there. That area is were Whites slough is located
and there is some great bass fishing in that area. Whites slough stretches north and south of the marina. And get a map of the delta. Wish I was going with you but got to work. Good Luck the bass should be pre-staging for the spawn.

Hey thanks for the tip! I saw it this morning as I was driving out to paradise point, decided to take your advice and just go to kings island. Been on the wate since around 720. Only one bite on the lipless crank in red craw pattern but ended up losing that bait a little while later. Now I'm throwing chatter bait in white/chartreuse and black/blue with watermelon chunk trailers. Hopefully I start getting some bites out here, definitely a great spot tho! Heard of white slough before and glad I finally came out here. Will post update later on about the outing

Stayed out until around 1230, didn't get any more bites, bummed that I lost the lipless crankbait because it was the only thing I got a bite on  lol but I liked the area a lot, just a bad day. I'll be back there again soon.
