A little b4 the witching hour last night, I'm in the can for a late night constitutional. Suddenly, WHAMMO, hear a catastrophic noise and all lights cut out!  Not just our house.  Adjacent neighbors, across the street, around the corner ...   Entire block and then some is pitch black!  I thought, "F'ing ISIS done got us good this time!!"  Then, sirens, squad cars, and EMS.  Turns out, a drunk driver Kaitlyn Jenner'd a power pole at intersection that's midway between my house and another NCKA bro who shall remain nameless.  Power still out until at least early evening.

Question:  A 28 inch lingcod cleaned, gutted and frozen solid in a  vacuum sealed bag - will it have defrosted by the time I get home?

Too many variables...
Temperature of freezer, amount of stuff in freezer, duration of outage, make and model of vehicle involved, and, most importantly,  whether or not you washed your dirty mitts after your midnight poop!  :smt001

LOL

Objects have a tendency to want to heat up far easier than cool down.  :smt003  I live in the world of making things hot.  Making them cold, that's a mystery that I tend to solve with ice - lots & lots of ice.
