Looking to do some delta striper fishing this weekend and we're debating where to go.  I've been told Sherman and Rio Vista areas have poor viz right now and I'm sure that won't improve by this weekend.  Anyone have any good striper intel they don't mind sharing??   :smt003

We are also considering Discovery Bay, but we have zero intel for that area so if anybody can chime in, that would be appreciated!

Viz was pretty bad at Frank's last weekend, but we caught a couple small ones. Also had some good luck near mildred, and I think the viz was slightly better there.

I've heard there is a decent bite in discovery, which I would go to personally, launching from or wood and going south, however I'm thinking of another ocean trip if the WX allows.

Judging by the report in the members section I would hit up Port of Sacramento.

I fished Disco with a buddy maybe 10 days ago or so.  Lots of shakers in the system.  We talked to one group that was fishing bait and had caught about 50 or so right before sunset.

Thanks for the info liverbass!  Did you or the other group catch any keeper size?  Not looking to keep any fish but I am looking for bigger fish to play with.  :smt003
