2/17 Ride the Big Tide: non fishing kayak trip

Going with a couple of friends from work to do a nice drift day-- put in at McInnis Park (upstream from Bucks) ride to Paradise Cay. Launch at noon.
I'm really, really going to try to not bring a rod- though perhaps i'll troll the entire ways

Here's the route

Yeh, that sounds like a blast, cant make it tho... Big stripers in the canal there in the summer, might be a lunker or two left.

True.  I have a hard time even imagining myself paddling for fun without a fishing rod.

No gaff will also guarantee a big fish.  The only two times in my life I forgot my gaff while fishing I caught big halibut which I couldn't land.  That hurt.

I'll be my usual self- bring my x-rap, special white hair-raiser...and the striper rod.
