Winners of Yosemite Institute’s Matthew A. Baxter III Memorial Award, outdoor educators Julie Hinkle and Zephyr Sincerny were given the opportunity last summer to make their wildest dream come true. In tonight’s slide presentation, they’ll take you on their 420-mile, five- and a half-week expedition, kayaking Alaska’s Inside Passage from Wrangell to Juneau. Come paddle with whales, fish for cod and pitch your tent beneath glacier-clad peaks. Learn about the gear and skills needed for an expedition of this magnitude.

I cannot make it to the San Carlos location cause I'm taking a CPR class at Aquan on the 8th.....does anyone want to go the the Berkeley REI clinic on the 6th or the SF clinic on the 7th????
