Fish Junky joined me at Sherman Lake today for some striper action.  Hooking up with us were Gordon, Sue and Chris from the Sacramento Kayak Fishing Facebook group.  We launched at about 8 AM and spread out into the lake.  The temps were cool and the wind was up but do-able.  Junky, Chris and I worked the rip rap down toward Mayberry Slough.  The others went out around the reed islands.  The bite was slow as the water was pretty stained.  Some other kayakers claimed to have found some fish and were doing pretty well.  I finally found a few stripers landing one at 17 inches and losing another boatside.  Around 11 the wind came up a notch and it started to get a little too lumpy for me so I started fishing my way back to the ramp.  Of course a few waves had to come over the side of my yak soaking me to the skin.  I’m done.  It was 12:30 when I pulled up at the ramp.  It appeared that the only fish caught today was mine.  A few photos were taken to commemorate the occasion.

The water was a little bumpy today.

Junky on the hunt.

The "only" fish boated today.  Still better than sitting on the couch.

Sounds like good times
My biggest worry is that my wife(when I'm dead)will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it
