Last time I was on the Klamath the drive would start klunking intermittently. It would usually come after a few minutes of peddling. I've tried tightening the suggested bolts to the arms. If I push hard it doesn't klunk, but normal pressures it keeps klunking... And yes Mike I did do both knobs with the tubing.

Maybe you need a couple new parts. I saw a video on this subject and it was the adjustment holes wearing out. the would position the pedals so they were in the most forward position in the holes and tighten the main bolts.

Maybe I'll try the next shorter adjustment holes and see if that stops it. Good suggestion. Thanx. If that does do it I can probably make it so they don't adjust. Don't need to change it because I'm the only one riding it....

just saw o nthe Hobie forum that many clunks aer as a result of pedal adjustment...if you are bottoming out on your pedals at the end of the stroke then try changing them so you cant bottom out. This keeps the unit from shifting in the saddle.
