Sherman Lake hookup Sunday 22nd

I'm fishing Sherman Lake on Sunday 22nd....hoping for better WX than last time. I'll be launching at around 6:30 AM at the Sherman Island ramp.  Whose's with me?

I might go to this one since I am taking off that week after the 22nd. Depending on the weather.

Its 8 or 10 bucks, Question #1 are you bringing your fly rod? Question #2 are you willing to give casting tips?

It's 5 bucks for the car and 3 bucks for the boat.

Fishing should be good. Temps at Antioch took a dip this past weekend but we have some stable weather through this coming weekend. If didn't have work I'd join as well.

I'll be throwing Rat L Traps, S Wavers, swimbaits, Whopper Ploppers for stripers.  For the ditch pickles all the regular stuff.

I only use fly rods, so yes I will be bringing my fly rods.

What do you all toss down there (besides flies!)? I'm trying to fill out my striper (and LMB) lure selection.

I am bringing lipless crankbaits, jerkbaits and a lot of topwater stuff and my fly rod.

I've found that most of the lures listed here work on both LMB and Striper. I'd add rattle traps, buzz/chatter baits, and spinners to the list. Senko's are a must as well.

WX looks great....46-70*  winds 5 mph   incoming tide starting at 7 AM   fish everywhere   Yahoo!  See everybody at around 6:30    channel 69 if you have a radio.
