Thanks Joe...still can't believe Dave got out on a Friday!

Yeah, I couldn't believe it either, at least he hooked up with ~6 lb. chromer that somehow sawed him off, then the half-pounder, a little less than 300mm.  I'm so due, I'm just stuck at getting my first, then I'm sure I'll be back to normal.  I'm thinking of getting in the AOY pool, might float that lower section sometime next weekend.

scwafish, thanks for the notes on equipment. that is a fiberglass rod? and you don't have to
cast that plug because you backtroll it or do you end up casting the plug a fair bit?

If there is enough current to swim the plug I will anchor up, and free spool the plug into a hole and then a little more, and a little more, until it gets all the way through or too far away.  If the pool or run is long, then I'll work it for a while, then pull the anchor, drift down a bit, then do it again.

If there isn't enough current, I cast it downstream and reel it in slowly, just enough to make it swim.

Nice fish! I see what your doing while they are drugeing ME! and I like it. you right gotta love using a plug brings back some great memoirs them mostly being of bass
