Hey folks,

Glad to make a second attempt to get back on the water. I've been gone for a few years......forgot my old user name. My name is Carlos and I have a Ocean Kayak Prowler. I will probably launch out of Santa Cruz or Capitola for awhile until I get back in the swing of things. I miss launching out of Pebble beach, is the launch still open to the public? I hope to share my love of fishing to my youngest son. Miss you Mooch.

I will be heading out of Capitola tomorrow.

Hey Carlos.  Welcome back.   :smt006

Since I didn't make it out today I'm going to head out tomorrow morning as well.  Where in Capitola are you launching from?

I was talked out of it because of the swells lately. This would be a first launch in many years so I don't need additional adventures. I would launch next to the pier. I unload the yak by the pier on the beach, park on top, and bring down the rods and tackle to minimize theft risk. They have a bait and tackle shop there as well.

I plan on going to Capitola when the swell calms a bit.
