I have been wanting to fish the sac and the feather for salmon but I'm really down for anything.

Wanna fish???  I pretty much fish every weekend.   :smt003  I just saw this post because I was fishing at Almanor all weekend.  As far as fishing the Sac, I game.  I've never done it yet but have been thinking more and more about it now the Salmon are in town.  I'm tempted to head straight out after I get off work at 3:30pm.  My biggest worry would be getting run over by a jet boat flying up and down the river.

Just need to find the time!   :smt013

I checked out some launch locations out on the Sac last night.  A promising location is the Pine Creek Day Use area just south of Scotty's, you would just need a set of wheeleez to get from the parking lot down to the river unless you went beast mode.  It looks like they close the gate at sunset and open it up at 8am, so I would park outside the gate myself.  I'm playing with the idea of heading out there after I get off work at 3:30pm tomorrow and fishing thru the evening.

Yeah I've been launching there. I don't know if I'm going to salmon fish anymore because they look like they are getting pretty nasty. I'm thinking striper? I went to the after any yesterday that was pretty bad ass too. I've always wanted to fish almanor as well. I'm down for whatever just hit me up when you have time!!

What's happening at the Afterbay?  Anything good? I still haven't made it out to the Sac river.  I ended up going back to Almanor this weekend.

It was cool didn't see any fish, really windy, I was only there for like an hour might go back next weekend. I hear it's hit or miss there because when they let water out of the dam it cools the lake down like 10 degrees which shut the bass down (maybe not the steelhead though) and of course they never tell you when they are letting water out  :smt011 How is almanor doing? I heard it is supposed to be heating up.  :smt004
