So I wanted to spend some time with my uncles and took them to Monterey Pier hoping to catch some mackerels. Although, there were mackerels being caught we did not have any luck. we didn't even get any action except for a few smelt I caught. So I suggest stopping by PG before we leave and that help a little. bite was really good but it was hard to hook them. we caught some perch and get to see some divers and kayakers. overall, fishing wasn't what I hope it to be but i get to spend some quality time with my uncles who love fishing.
