Thanks guys!  It was a good day.  Fishing could've been better, but it was a good opportunity to soak up the last heat of summer.

I just wish I could have put you on some fish.   

Guess I should've brought more Powerbait  .  I'm ready for the summer heat to finally leave and cool down the water.  Those mid-60s from Friday were replaced with 70+ degree water, same temps as in mid-summer.  No bueno!

Thanks for the birthday wishes fellas!  Mighty kind of ya.  I turned the big 30 this Sunday.  Fishing with Bret/NoSoupForYou on Sunday was really tough due to warm water (71 degrees by the afternoon), but I did well two days prior.  Temperatures dropped for a few days and cooled off Lake Almanor into the mid-60 degree range.  That cool-off triggered a solid bite on pre-spawn brown trout.  Biggest was around 22 inches.  Glad I was able to hit it while it lasted!
