A friend of a friend, has a OK P 13 that he needs to sell for health reasons. He only used it twice.
He said that if I could come up with $450 cash I could have it. That seems like a good deal to me.
I have never paddled this boat before, I am 6 ft 270 pounds is that pushing it for this boat. Your opinions please

It probably already depends on what you're planning on doing with it. Rivers and lakes ? Rockfishing ? Crabbing ? I'm a little taller and a little heavier than you and the legroom is not an issue at all.

Assuming everything on the boat checks out, thats a great price for a great boat. Any way that you can borrow it for a few hours and take it for a paddle ? Only one way to tell if it fits your body and paddling style.

I think that is a great yak at a good price if there are no issues with it. height/weight should not be an issue. as the weight limit is 400-450 pounds.

Sweet pic bushy! If that doesn't do the yaks justice in terms of strength, I don't know what will!!!

I'd try it out first.   Your height and weight to me sound like a better fit in a 15.

13 actually has more leg room than the 15.  In shark pic above 2d from right is Howard McKim.  He is like 6'8" tall.  He doesn't fit a 15, but he fits the 13.  that's why we were using 13's for that trip.

Oh shit with that avatar I thought it was Darius claiming P13 as the one and only.  I was about to call "Pants on Fire!"

At 270, the P13 is going to have wet footwells.  It does for me at 225#.
