Fish Junky and I are gonna try for some rockies at Timber Cove on Sunday the 13 th arriving around 7 AM.  We're new to the salt and have amassed the safety equipment and wet suits to give it a try.  Providing the WX is good, who's with us?

Both you are new to   salt water--no salt water experience? If that is the case, hopefully a few TC regulars will be out.  Ask a million questions and make sure you got a radio and GPS and you know how to use both.  The salt water fishing is amazingly great.

How about yall meet me there this Sunday or Monday and I'll show you around?  I'll be fishing the WKBS tournament on Clear Lake the 13th and will be camping up there all weekend so I can't make it then.

it's always better to go to places that you haven't been to with someone who is a regular around the area. who knows where to go and what to avoid.
example would be HMB where surf break out of no where in certain areas and rocks that is visible during low tide disappear on high tide but enough to flip if get hit by swell. I think you guys should be ok dough. i heard TC is one of the easiest place to launch and land. I will do some fishing as well but dunno where at yet. maybe I'll hit up there but then again i'm a newbie to that area too.

Thanks for the response.  We both have salt experience but not in yaks.  Ring King I'll get back to you regarding this Sunday.  I would be nice to get some 411 from someone who's been there.  Thanks again fellow Norcaler's.

Dont know if you interested but if you decide to come this weekend I have plenty of room at the house if you want to crash here the night before so you're not driving crazy early in the morning.  I live between Petaluma and Tomales and it's right at an hour from my house to the launch.

The charm of fishing is that it is the pursuit of what is elusive but attainable, a perpetual series of occasions for hope.  ~John Buchan

2 feet at 9 seconds.  No wind to mention.  Looks great.  We'll see when we arrive.  Check with NOAA if you decide to join us.
