Huge thanks to Ricci and Mike for putting on a great event. It was a blast and I enjoyed meeting everyone, as did Sarah. I wish the conditions had been a bit more favorable, but that's Tahoe (and any alpine environment). However, when the conditions are right, there aren't too many places on earth that rival Tahoe's beauty, and still kick out some solid fishing.

I'm definitely in for a Rocktober hookup, the Browns should finally start venturing back into the shallows, and the crowds are limited!

I did use the minnows with no  luck. I am in for an October hookup, but the first 2 weekends I am racing out of town. I would prefer a weekday anyway.

Dang looks like I missed a great fishing experience. Need to find time to get on these in the summer, hard with fire season. Would need every weekend off with all the extra activities.

We had fun. ..thanks to Ricci,Mike,  and all the sponsors.  Got my first downrigger kokanee off a kayak on Sunday. Got six hits in a row late Sunday afternoon and missed everyone and realize later they were attacking my flasher blades the little willow type. So next time I will use a Sling Blade instead. We had a great time despite the wind mainly because of all the great people around. See you next trip...
Remember to practice safe knots, because big fish don't just break your line, they also break your heart.
