Where's a good place park and put in at Lake Tahoe? I'd be wheeling a ProAngler and Ride 135 so the closer I can park to the water the better. Driving from Sacramento area.
Thanks!!!

Cave Rock on the east side.
Kings Beach/Coon Street on the north side.

When are you coming up to North Tahoe?  Are you fishn', divn' or just cruising and chilln'?

This Sunday if it's not too windy. The wife and I were going to just kayak around a bit. I might troll a line but I'm not sure what to use. I only bass fish for the most part.

Emerald Bay.
This was last weekend. Was beautiful there.
Can park right along the water.

Cave rock has some awesome houses along the shoreline.
You can cruise to Zephyr Cove and pull out for lunch, then head back.

If you use the Kings beech launch ramp. It's a 10 dollar parking/launch fee.

I thing my state park poppy pass works there.

We drove up 50 then 89? To Truckee then back on 80.
Saw a lot of really nice launch sites right along the road. Parking and just a small jaunt to the water.
It was the west side of the lake, gets some wind, but I thought there were a lot of great possibilities.....

Have fun! We might be back up that way this weekend. Haven't decided yet.
