Launched at the Tsing Tao Building at about 7:00am  last 2 1/2 of the outgoing tide.  Paddled to the tubes and trolled a 1/2 white Hair raiser. Hooked up about ten minutes in to a 26 incher and released it.  Argued with a guy from shore who released his bobber with live bait about 125 yards out from the tubes. This cuts off a lot of water to boaters trying to avoid his line. I Asked him pull it in and split the difference with me but he got no response.   :smt013 Angry I trolled as close to his line as possible and hooked up again this time the striper was about 8lbs. Nice Fight!

paddled back at 10:00 to find there was no water. (expected) It was tough getting out through the 2ft deep mud but managed to hoist the yak up some rocks to get home. A good morning.

Nice job! Mike and I did not manage to catch any on our last outing but the bait fish was present when the tide was rushing out from the tubes.

Have you tried fishing Coyote Point? I may try that area sometime next week (after work).

I have never tried coyote point. Matter of fact I have never caught any fish south of the elephant bar in Burlingame.  I would like to meet up one day and try it out, however I start spring football practice this monday. It last two weeks but after that I'm in.  I would also like to try for Halibut off Oyster, has anyone been having luck.

Jason - if you want first hand reports on Halibut at Oyster Point, call the number below. When Mike and I fished the B. Tubes last week, we dropped by Oyster Point and saw lot's of boats out there!

FYI: park and launch is free

Let's definitely hook up sometime for a trip to Coyote Point. There was a short flurry of striper activities Late October through September last year. Another spot near by is the Showboat (North of Coyote Point) - Did not get any there last year but it seems to be a good spot when the bite is on.

Park and launch is also free.
