Please send positive vibes to those fighting the Rough Fire

Please send positive vibes and prayers to the firefighters fighting the Rough Fire. The Fire has approached Hume lake and a camp that I attended as a child.

Bearskin Meadow Camp is a camp for children and families living with type 1 Diabetes. For the last few years the proceeds from the Crabfest raffle have gone to the DYF, the organization that runs this camp. I attended this camp as a camper, a counselor and as a camp nurse.

This camp is the reason I am where I am today. This camp has helped thousands of people living with type 1 diabetes. I don't know if the camp will make it, but I have hope. Please send positive thoughts and pray for Bearskin Meadow Camp.

Over 50 firefighters are at BMC right now, and are working hard to clear brush, and protect our structures. Many more are lined on Ten Mile Road to help keep the fire at bay.Thank you to all of you for asking how you can help. Sounds like an awesome camp that's had quite the impact on your life. Sending some good vibes BMC's way. Mad respect for the firefighters all over the western states that are putting their lives on the line. I hope the ones trying to save the camp are successful and stay safe. Send positive and good vibes.

My daughter has been to Hume lake several times and it's an awesome place.  I guess they had to evacuate most folks.  I heard some stayed to make meals for the firefighters. 

I pray all those still there are safe and they get a hold on the fire sooner than later.
