Gadgetman and Fishjunky joined me for a day at Loon Lake.  We arrived early and launched on the nearly dry ramp.  We trolled up the lake but found the depth varied so much we decided to stay close to the ramp area where the depth averaged about 50 feet.  We started landing rainbow trout right away with most fish in the 14-15 ˝ inch range.  The best lure seemed to be a brown grub.  Depth averaged about 30-35 feet.  We ended the day at noon with limits for everyone.  A few photos for your approval…..

The ramp like most in California is getting longer and dryer.

Gadgetman with a nice one.

Junky follows up with another one.

Lots of yaks on the water....one could of been you!

The take!  When filleted the meat was bright orange.
