I am going out on monday. Gonna drift some squid or live bait ( if I find it) looking for some butts. Launch at MBK stay over the sand. If its slow I will shift gears and find some rocks. Anyone welcome. I know its a monday.

@mcnwy1438 I launched from MBK yesterday and there is definitely plenty of bait around. Lots of Mackerel. Overall the fishing was a bit slow though, and while I was able to hook into a handful of lings and small blues I had to move around a lot to find them. The radio was also pretty quiet for most of the day so I am guessing it was a similar situation for the others out there.

Anyway, hope you find this info helpful and good luck out there and please let us know how it goes. :)

Thanks for the info. There have been a ton of yakkers outthe water has been so glassy and the wind has stayed down well into afternoon. I want to stay over the sand and see if I can get a halibut to bite. If it doesnt workout I will try for some rockies.
