Made it up to Lake Sonoma in the afternoon with my kid for some trolling from yorty creek.  Trolled around for a few hours for two bites and quick releases.  Drew saved the day in the final minutes with a monster crappie on a lucky craft and skunked Dad (again).  Talked to a few others and not much going on, one guy in an inflatable managed a few in the morning trolling, but that was it.  Looks like they are still holding mainly in the main body and up around the dam area.

Nice job Norm that smile is what it's all about how big is your dingy(not a personnel question for all you jesters).
Have you drifted the river with it I have a 8' pram its a lot of fun to drift.
Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.

Can't wait for my 8 month old to be wearing a big smile like that.

My little dingy (ha ha) is an 8 footer.  My Grandparents gave it to me when I was a kid when they got a zodiac for their ship to shore boat on their big boat.  I don't know how it would do, even with little rapids, it has prettly limited freeboard, and it seems to sit even lower than it did when I was 17  :smt012.  You'll have to take a look at it some time and let me know what you think, I would love to do that if it would work.

My son has been fishing with me since he was just shy of 3 years old and we have collected some great memories over the years.  He has been on a real hunting kick the last year or so, and that has cut down on some of our fishing time, but we still manage to get out pretty often.  I have not hunted since i was a kid, so that has been fun learning that sport all over again.  Between baseball, riding bikes, hunting and fishing, we keep a pretty busy schedule, but I wouldn't trade a minute of it, I can't believe he is already 9, half way to adulthood..... :smt009.  When you meet him, you will have to have him tell you about his IGFA 8lb line class record for California Corbina that he caught at almost 4 years old, it lasted a few years, and they sent a very nice certificate that we have framed.  I knew I was in trouble when he started outfishing me at 3 years old!!
