I remember you guys talking about being able to buy fresh oysters in a sack in Eureka but can not remember.
Anyone know where? I want to take them camping.

Thanks. Got two dozen from Humboldt bay tourism center. I assumed the place to be a county office but actually a very nice restaurant featuring local food products. Name was deceiving. Will go there for sitdown some other time.
Oysters were $24 for two dozen unchucked.

Coast Seafoods at 25 waterfront has kumomotos for $6.75/dozen.  Mr fish has pacifics for $1.50 each.  $1ea. is going retail rate in town for kumos and you can get that at ENF, co-op, mr. fish, etc.

25 waterfront is the processing plant so it is loud with pneumatic hammers and the like and you have to go upstairs to the tiny plant office to order.  You get a much better experience at the tourism bureau on second with really nice digs and attractive ladies helping you out.  Might be worth the ~100% markup if you are only getting a couple dozen.
