Just curious if there are any well known spots for rock fish that are easy to get to between angel island and the GG bridge?  I know from looking at nautical maps there are a couple of big rocks usually with Bouys over them but anyone catching rock fish around here?  Especially on the north side of GG, as I live near Sausalito and launch from there.

Thanks!

Greg

Here is the map I am using, this image should be good to mark on.  Seems like I only see charter boats hitting stripers in the morning just west of Alcatraz and towards GG bridge in the shipping channel.

Be sure to watch the tides.

For sure.  As a rule of thumb I always come back in before 11am when it starts blowing and I have a Hobie outback with turbo fins so usually feel pretty safe even when cutting through some gnarly tides.

IMHO, the main body of the bay should be avoided by Kayaks.  Way too many PB, sailboats, Ferrys and ships.
