Don't know about a read as an san pablo reservoir (what all dried up or something) ? but because the red abalone fishery is going to managed as an FMP under the auspicious of the marine life management act, henceforth expect changes to the assessment up to and including the use of spawning reproduction potentials in abalone management.

Not sure whom may have attended the LB-SPR presentation last night at Gaulala or not, hope some of you yak divers did make it although.

So instead of me trying to regurgitate it, the good news is the presentation was video taped. Our working group has discussed releasing the presentation via Youtube.

Quick observation, members of the public attention seemed to be captive and held with a willingness to learn something different than the norm, and the "new" for the most part. Based upon some clarifying questions asked of the attendee's one might assess the information was well received and generally understood regarding what length based SPR is, how to assess it, and how it could be applied to the current abalone management regiment.
