Spent a day at clearlake (nice).had a bunch of kids with us and rented a Pontoon boat.
So as I was towing a my daughter and her cousin they some how fell off the tube and they started  screaming and crying. So as I swung the boat around instead  of pulling them out of the water we jumped in calmed them down and reassured that they were safe and nothing was gonna happen to them.so when they realize that there was nothing in the water to be scared of and as long as they have their life jackets on nothing will happen to them.
Well good news is my daughter at a young age is getting over her fear of water and becoming aware of water safety (1st lesson),down side is now it's impossible to get her out of the water.

So we come to dock cause some of the kids wanted  to go in the pool so I stayed on the dock and did some fishing.
I want to report that I was swinging huge 4_5 pounders lmb but they were very hard to find.so we turned to the huge numbers of gills that was in the vegetation.
Man going back to basic have never been so much fun.these guys made to work for them.the bigger guys were really finicky and the ones that were constantly biting were on the smaller side.

Over all had a great time at the lake.thanks to mako1  for the info on the lake.the lake is thick with grass algae along the shore line we seen bass swimming around but throwing anything with an exposed hook with get you nothing but grass

My biggest worry is that my wife(when I'm dead)will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it

Gotta love them bluegills. Tasty too, if you can deal with the bones.
