Here's an article from our local paper "the Eureka Reporter" . It talks about how kayakers have gotten the jump on the sportcrabbing season. Actually I don't know how to do links, so here is the web address    --eurekareporter.com-- (Under sportcrabbing)  The pic online is my buddy Matt with crabs caught off of a malibu extreme.  Heres a pic from last week also.

Nice crabs.

You can do links a couple of ways.  You can just type in the link thusly

http://www.eurekareporter.com

Or, you can type it in thusly to create a clickable link with the name that you like.

{url=http://www.eurekareporter.com}Cool Article{/url}  Where you actually use [ instead of { style brackets.

Nice pics...  Id like to give the whole crabbin thing a shot!  Do you have any pics of what kind of pots to get?  What do you put in the pots, fish guts, ab guts, whats the best.   Then how deep, sand, vs. rock etc.   Im sure this has been covered in the site somewhere.

Andy:

Chuck has a good kayak crabbing article on the home page, and there have been a few good threads too.

The idea of me giving computer suggestions is laughable, but here goes: I just highlight the address in the search box, click Edit, click Copy, then get up the NorCal site (or compose e-mail), then in the body I hit Edit again, then Paste.  (I had to search a little through the Eureka Paper site to get to the story in question, the reference below should shoot right to it:

I can play the hell out of a video game and edit a pic or two but anything else and I'm still in the stone age. Thanks for the tutorial Tom and Mol.

Andy-- the article for crabbing on this site is wholly adequate but someone like me wants a doctorall dissertation on the subject to grasp it from all angles. That book is called Recreational Crabbing by Scott Haugen
