Wow, just what I've dreamed of since seeing these drones come out.  Like a totally automated camera man by your side all the time!  Wonder if there are ways to recharge or replace batteries during the day.  Fishing is a lot more waiting than action.

Looks like USB 5V charging, takes 2 hrs to charge. You can stream to a smart phone live. https://www.lily.camera/tech-specs/

A friend of mine who posted this today just ordered one, delivery is not until next year, retail then will be $999, for next 29 days can pre-order $499.
is this just for the service or for that price are you purchasing the whole package that will essentially become yours to use whenever you want?

Their web site says it is complete package, camera, tracker, wrist case and charger $499.

Problem I have with new/startup companies like this will be support.  If they don't make it at initial launch, your left with a $500 paperweight/toy with no parts/support.  I'd hold out for the 2nd generation unit & see if they become a stable company.

I think it is cool but isn't there enough cameras watching you. The more the technology like this the more privacy we loose. Soon you can't go out in the forest with the wife in the forest and have a little fun.
But I would consider buying some stock in this company.

The Lily is pretty cool. Here's another one that has obstacle avoidance & easy to swap out batteries but lacks the tracking capability of the Lily.

Now if they would teach Lily how to swim and take under water photo's then you could have both Airel and submersible.
Now that would be cool!

Definitely. Guess my point is the tech already exists to make a better Lily.

I'm already there, but that has more to do with the wife than technology...
I don't like stuff that sucks.
