This is my favorite way to cook venison roasts! So easy, and only a few ingredients. cooked this roast for Memorial Day hookup in the delta with the crew, and it was a hit!

Those eat great! I am really hoping I get some game close enough that I can bring out a whole animal again this year to do an article on butchering, and some video tutorials too. I also want to do the same for field breaking game down to pack out. It is all SUPER EASY if you know what to do. People should feel comfortable butchering their own game, you don't even have to have a place to hang them, I have done it all on the tailgate of my pickup several times. Just gotta know how to break them down, and I am really looking forward to teaching everyone through both media forms.

I've been butchering deer since I was pretty young.  My family has property and deer hunting is a big deal.  I go back to MO for deer season, but not thanksgiving or christmass and no one bats an eye...  3 hours from carcas to cleaned up with saussage,  butterfly and everything in between sealed up and in the freezer for an average 160lb deer :)

That.  Looks.  Delicious.

I look forward to your videos on field dressing and butchering.  I have been watching videos on youtube but most are very poor tutorials.   My son and I will be hunting for the first time this year.  We are going to try it with archery so I'm thinking our best chance will probably be hitting one with the truck on the way there or back.

Looks delish. It's about time to get more deer thawing out with archery right around the corner.
